“Leider” konnte mich kein einzelnes Album zu 100% überzeugen und aus diesem Grund gibt gibt es wieder einmal zwei Alben des Monats. Wobei es ja nichts schlechtes ist. Es zeigt das es mehr als nur ein gutes Album pro Monat geben kann. Es hätten auch drei sein können (siehe Ch-ch-check it out).

NR 1: A&E Arts & Entertainment

Die Brooklyn/Boston Connection in Form von den Veteranen Masta Ace & Ed OG bringen ein Album raus das eher an die “älteren” und “anspruchsvolleren” Hip Hopper gerichtet ist (siehe “Little Young”).  Die beiden Rhymer sind ja auch schon lange genug im Game um einigen Youngins’ zu zeigen wo es lang geht. Die Produktion ist fett und die Rhymes sind tight und reichen von Battle Raps, Tour Tagebüchern bis hin zu persönlichen Erlebnissen.

Am 03.12 sind A&E Live im Conne Island in Leipzig zu sehen! Eine must-see für alle Ace und Ed O Fans.

NR 2: Royce Da 5’9” Street Hop

Eminems Homie und Puffys Ghostwriter Royce Nickel Nine kommt nach 4 jähriger Pause (und einem kleinen Gefängnisaufenthalt) mit einem neuem Album zurück und beweist das er zu den besten Lyricists im Rap Biz zählt. Street Hop (Executive Prod.: DJ PREMIER!!!) is vollgepackt mit hammer Word play, Story telling und viel Braggin’ & Boastin’. Leider haben es nur 3 Primo Tracks aufs Album geschafft, aber dafür sind sie das Beste was Primo seit längerem gemacht hat. Der Rest der Producer haut sich auch mächtig ins Zeug und somit ist das Album auch eine runde Sache geworden.

Am 20.10 erscheint das neue Album von Cormega “Born and Raised” und wir haben mit dem guten Mann ein “kleines” Interview gemacht. Nach einem langsamen Start hat er dann richtig losgelegt und unter anderem von seiner Zeit im Gefängnis, seinem neuen Album und von einigen Rappern geredet.
